Program Overview

The Comparel program was developed to ensure accurate claims during the patent process. It allows the user to perform the following:

  • Load images of clothing.
  • Automatically rectify images of clothing photographed with multiple and single Comparel charts.
  • Segment images of clothing from the background using edge detection techniques. Advanced segmentation techniques are incorporated in the patent claims including machine learning, classification and matting.

  • Allow users to accurately measure a single object or differences between two objects.
  • Allow users to change transparency of objects and toggle object images on/off.

The Comparel program is executable in Windows and was developed in C++. Licensees and purchasers will be provided with all source code.
